The Art Witch Journal Has a New Home

An Art Witch’s desk with a closed journal and an empty cup of tea.

If you’ve been following along with the Art Witch Journal for a while, you might have noticed things have been quietly shifting behind the scenes.

The Art Witch Journal has now moved to Substack.

All of the previous editions will remain here on my website as an archive a, record of that first cycle of writing, reflection, and seasonal practice. I’m really conscious of how much meaning and continuity lives in those early pieces, and it felt important to keep them accessible rather than disappearing them into the void.

Going forward, new editions of the Art Witch Journal will be published on Substack.

This move has been a considered one. Substack allows the journal to live as a dedicated, ongoing practice rather than being tucked in amongst portfolio updates and exhibition news. It gives the writing room to breathe, to be more intimate, more reflective, and more aligned with the rhythms that underpin the work: lunar cycles, seasons, creative rest, and return.

It also allows me to separate my online spaces with a bit more clarity. My website is becoming a more focused home for my professional art practice, exhibitions, projects, and studio work, while the Art Witch Journal continues elsewhere as a slower, more personal offering for those who want to walk alongside that part of my practice.

If you’ve enjoyed reading the journal here, I’d love for you to join me over on Substack for current and future editions. That’s where new writing, prompts, playlists, and reflections will now be shared.

The archive will stay. The practice continues, just in a new space.

You can find the Art Witch Journal on Substack here.

Thank you, as always, for reading and for being part of this evolving body of work.
